The CRSA unit in the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has an opening for an Associate Analyst to provide business process, analytical project management, organizational and data support to management and staff of a diverse set of business lines. As an Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing materials and data analysis for stakeholders; communicating with various stakeholders on behalf of management; providing data querying support; and proactively and independently addressing issues as they arise. You are expected to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint. You will learn and become proficient in database management and business intelligence tools, such as MS Access, SAS, SQL and Tableau, and prior experience with some of these tools is favorable. Provide analytical and operational support to unit officers, managers and staff;
Provide data support on behalf of SRC stakeholders utilizing various data querying and visualization tools;
Perform ad-hoc project management activities and report on performance against project objectives;
Administer business line SharePoint sites and liaise with department SharePoint subject matter experts as needed;
Lead and contribute to the development, documentation and/or execution of business processes (e.g., document management);
Perform administrative duties as assigned, generally in a back-up capacity for unit administrative analyst; and
Advance and support diversity and inclusion efforts, and encourage diverse perspectives, ideas, and approaches.
Strong business analytical and project management skills;
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in writing and verbally;
Sound judgment, excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize work and meet deadlines;
Proficient with MS collaboration suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint);
Beginner level of knowledge on data management and business intelligence tools (e.g., Access, SAS, and Tableau); and
Dedication to advancing and supporting diversity and inclusion efforts, and encouraging diverse perspectives by actively participating in activities that contribute to engagement and inclusion
Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to travel (up to 5%) required.
Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree.
Incumbent must be equally comfortable carrying out projects and work independently, and working collaboratively with department and Bank colleagues.
