The AVP of Talent Development and Pipeline Programs is a member of the Global HR team and will assist in the oversight of State Streets enterprise pipeline programs. Successful candidates will have a creative, hands-on approach, strong knowledge of program management, learning and/or career development, with strong analytical skills, and effective presentation skills.

The Talent Development/Talent Pipeline team in North America has global oversight of our pipeline programs, the Professional Development Program (PDP) and the Leadership Development Program (LDP). Additionally, the team has regional oversight for intern/co-op programs in North America.

The team strives to provide high caliber development experiences for all pipeline candidates and follows them through the employee lifecycle from recruiting, onboarding to development and performance management, and finally offboarding/final placement.

In the role of Talent Development and Pipeline Program Manager you will:

  • Support State Streets enterprise structured career development rotation programs
  • Collaborate and partners with regional rotational managers to ensure processes and strategies meet global needs
  • Assists and coordinates hiring and placement processes
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with participants
  • Promote mobility throughout the company through the rotational programs participants, sponsors and assignment managers
  • Identifies metrics, and framework for the programs
  • Provides support for performance management needs of the program
  • Identifies creative and innovative ways to drive participant engagement and commitment

To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience or experience in learning/development
  • Ability to develop relationships and influence business unit leaders
  • Analytical and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong program and project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
  • Able to work well independently, with a team and across multiple teams to deliver results
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and working knowledge in SharePoint
