A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Perform tasks necessary to facilitate timely and accurateconversion of loan data from seller servicers onto the SLS Servicing Platform.       

Primary Accountabilities
  • Interacts with prior servicers andinvestors regarding SLS transfer requirements, data discrepancies, missingdata, files/images and timelines for servicing transfers. Communicates andcoordinates with other business units to resolve these discrepancies and loanlevel reviews within deadlines. Follow-up on outstanding items throughresolution.         

  • Performs data analysis by usingspecific tools to identify discrepancies which need further review orexplanation. Determines the best course of action to resolve the discrepancydependent on the severity of the issue, loan product, lien position and loanstatus.           

  • Analyses data so that it can beaccurately mapped into a pre-boarding system utilizing proprietary programs,Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Uploads data into the SLS servicingplatform by using specific tools.            

  • Demonstrates proactive problemsolving to improve loan boarding processes. This may require implementation ofapproved procedural changes necessary to minimize financial risks, improveservice delivery and/or reduce expenses. Drafts project requirements andtesting plans. Completes user acceptance testing as assigned.

  • Other duties or tasks as assigned bymanagement.

  • IntermediateMicrosoft Excel and Access skills.

  • Detail-orientedand focused.

  • Strongproactive problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability tohandle multiple priorities, meet fluctuating deadlines and demonstrate strongmulti-tasking abilities.

  • Ability towork independently effectively.

  • Ability towork effectively in a high volume environment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of mortgageindustry experience in loan boarding, underwriting or data analysis.

Travel Required

It is expected that this positionmay include travel up to 10% of the time. This is subject to change based on many factors, including businessneeds.

Language Ability

Ability to read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/businesscorrespondence/procedure manuals; effectively present information/respond toquestions from managers/clients/customers/public.

Mathematical Ability

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, andvolume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
