Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Software Quality Assurance Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts ): The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the identification, creation, and execution of test cases, as well as monitoring test coverage and ensuring the overall quality of developed software. This position will lead and mentor IT testing team members and external contractors to support the team's testing processes. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst position will oversee and create all aspects of the quality assurance process for projects including execution, metrics collection, and developing new tools and processes, such as testing plans, traceability matrices, test cases, and metrics, to ensure that quality objectives are met. Finally, this position will assign the necessary testing related responsibilities, utilize standard testing tools and processes, and generate and communicate status reports to management. Specific duties of the position include: Working in an agile IT environment to lead the overall responsibilities of the Quality team; ensuring that the team understands and follows standard test practices and controls; developing and executing test scripts for functional and automation purposes; designing and executing complex user test scenarios manually and with automation; and participating in Agile team activities, iteration planning, and backlog grooming.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field; and 5 years of experience in IT as a Quality Assurance tester.
Must have: Demonstrated knowledge of internal IT applications within the accounting and security valuation environments; excellent knowledge in Derivatives-Listed and Over the Counter platforms; ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Development and Product Leads; demonstrated experience in designing and executing complex user test scenarios manually and with automation; experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and well-versed in tools such as IBM RTC and Agile Requirement Designer; knowledge of automation tools such as Ranorex, UFT, and GQS Framework UFT, GQS Framework Ranorex; demonstrated experience with the tools CA Test Data Management, HP Application Life Cycle Management, and Oracle SQL Developer; and strong knowledge in State Street internal tools for database vulnerabilities and risk-level calculation such as iSeal and iShield.
