The Global Security (GS) organization provides security protection, investigation, and crisis management services in support of JPMC, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, security operations globally, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, fire and life safety, alarm response, violence-free workplaces, executive protection, pre-employment screening, and fraud and employee investigations. The GS mission is executed through the implementation of stakeholder collaboration along with best-in-class talent and technology.

Within GS, the Strategy & Innovation team is responsible for scoping, planning, and executing initiatives on topics of strategic importance to Global Security. The project portfolio will continue to evolve, but current initiatives include building an insider threat program; enhancing firmwide anti-fraud capabilities; and developing remote access alerting. A Strategy Manager must be able to work through ambiguity and to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Scope:

  • Lead one or more projects, potentially including the workstreams of team associates
  • Work with stakeholders to identify issues, scope problems, and design solutions
  • Collaborate with team to develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and build roadmaps
  • Develop workplans and own day-to-day project management and delivery of impact
  • Identify potential obstacles or roadblocks and escalate issues as needed
  • Develop junior team members, including serving as a mentor


Qualifications:

  • Passion for solving problems, developing new solutions, innovation and experimentation
  • 7 years designing, implementing and managing programs, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, issue and risk management, resource tracking and score-carding
  • Familiarity with risk and security topics such as counter-fraud, cybersecurity, and/or insider threat preferred
  • Ability to structure problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
  • Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive-level presentation
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Vision, and MS Project. PMI Certification a plus
