The Staff Accountant will be a key contributor to the team who can operate in a fast-paced environment, take direction, and multi-task under time constraints

A successful and growing real estate development firm with multiple exciting projects in Jersey City, Hoboken, and New York. Offices based in Central New Jersey


  • Maintaining accurate financial records for both multi-family properties and development projects
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Monthly close and variance analysis
  • Monitoring internal controls and processes
  • Research and resolve accounting issues
  • Reviewing bank requisitions for development projects
  • Support other team members as necessary


Must have:

  • 4 years + in a similar role within Construction, Engineering, or Property Management firm
  • Project Accounting
  • BSc in Finance or Accounting
  • Proactive approach with ability to multitask and work in exciting fast paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Msc in Finance
  • Exposure to Sage
