Your role
Are you passionate about user experience? Do you thrive working with both design and development teams and have a knack for wealth management products and platforms?

We're looking for someone who:
• Will work seamlessly across the software development lifecycle, representing the business stakeholders' product/platform vision
• Has experience in business and functional requirements gathering within an agile development model
• Will lead the requirements effort (via detailed user stories) within a scrum team and partner with technology developers, visual designers and quality assurance testers
• Has the ability to coordinate tasks across multiple work groups in the capacity of a project manager
• Is passionate about the digital wealth management landscape and understands the competition

Key responsibilities include:

 Analyze current and target platform features and functionality
 Research functional and technical systems and processes and identify key gaps for resolution
 Create, develop and maintain user story backlog to support scrum team:
• Decompose features and functionality into well-formed user stories to enable cross-functional communication
• Ensure user stories contain all necessary information and data
• Ensure that backlog is current, well-groomed and prioritized based on PO inputs
• Obtain product owner approval on user stories and maintain current status of stories

 Work with Systems Analyst to describe and clarify functional and technical tasks required to enable features and functionality throughout each agile sprint
 Present functional overview in order for development team to assess cross-functional effort required to enable functionality
 Assist in the creation of test cases and test execution on behalf product owners and the quality assurance testing team

 Continually work with the product owner as well as other business analysts across the digital factory to communicate and manage the development of prioritized requirements
 Act on behalf of the product owner to facilitate to quickly facilitate decision-making, issue resolution and consensus both within and across scrum teams as necessary
 Manage relationships with internal partners (i.e., banking platform owners, etc.) to ensure constant alignment on project objectives, critical tasks, milestones and dependencies.

Your team
You'll be working in the Digital Factory Team based in Weehawken, NJ, which is part of the larger UBS Digital Strategy & Platforms (DS&P) team. The DS&P team is responsible for establishing a vision and client-facing road map for the digital client experience across a number of platforms, as well as implementing on that vision through the defining and development of cutting-edge wealth management tools.

Your expertise
• Using your strong interpersonal skills to gather requirements and work collaboratively with all partners
• Developing functional and business requirements based on an agile approach (user stories, acceptance criteria)
• The post-requirements gathering process, mainly supporting the technical developers through clarifications, testing, and sign off for deployment
• Digital innovation in the wealth management space
• PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Jira
• Project management / product development experience – managing to deadlines
• Manage multiple stakeholders who have competing demands

You are:
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where transparency is of utmost importance and change is a constant
• Willing to take on the challenge of responsibility and ownership of quality output
• Ready to go the extra mile where you (a) see ambiguity and (b) are needed to support other scrum teams when demand for output is high
