Key Responsibilities
  • Represent TTS in the Balance Sheet Costing committee, applying financial expertise and asset/liability/capital management techniques to optimize balance sheet utilization and returns for business.
  • Coordinate with regional and local balance sheet partners to review transfer Pricing policy and implementation. Liaising with treasury partners where necessary to resolve inconsistencies.
  • Drive collaboration and coordination across TTS businesses (Cash, Trade, Cards), providing leadership and oversight from a Balance Sheet Management perspective.
  • Engage treasury, Finance, regional balance sheet and business heads to agree and allocate balance sheet targets
  • Engage Treasury and coordinate with regional LMS teams on defining, challenging and executing hedge strategies that reduce interest rate risk and basis of the business.
  • Coordinate closely Global Deposits and Investments Product teams to ensure execution of strategies designed to achieve deposits targets by market and segment.
  • Coordinate closely with Analytics work streams to develop financial and regulatory MIS; provide analytics and metrics by which the business can drive optimization objectives that can be measured and managed.
  • Work to optimize Net Interest Revenue (NIR) focusing primarily on enhancing TPR whilst liaising with Global D&I with respect to cost of funds management.
  • Monitor performance against Financial and Regulatory objectives i.e. LCR, NSFR, GSIB. Leveraging analytics to drive optimization
  • Engage internal partners, e.g. Treasury, in application of tactical and strategic balance sheet management programs
  • Working closely with TTS Product partners to propose products and programs designed to expand range of placement options.
  • Act as business liaison to regional and functional partners to ensure alignment of goals.
  • Support senior business management in strategic planning exercises and other business initiatives, including annual budget planning, CCAR contribution, issue resolution and regulatory responses


Skills and Competencies
  • 8+ years' experience in related banking and financial management functions; risk management or corporate treasury practice a plus
  • Post-graduate Master's Degree
  • Familiarity with liquidity products; business and project management skills; application of economic and market-based pricing strategies; financial and balance sheet management and modeling; global expertise and experience
  • Ability to build consensus and influence
