Prime Services - Derivatives Clearing – Client Service – Analyst/Associate

Global Clearing is a part ofEquities and J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Bank. The businessprovides Clearing operations and technology services to a diverse client baseincluding hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, banks andbroker-dealers.

The Client Service team acts asthe product account manager and Clearing subject matter expert for ourclients. They are responsible for the overall service experience and sitat the center of the Clearing business, acting as a balanced advocate for clientsand the business. They are measured on JP Morgan's market share, clientprofitability and cost management, as well as their ability to manage internalstakeholders and effect positive results.

The role will be on the ClientService team covering hedge funds, and includes the following day to dayresponsibilities:

  • Managerelationships with Futures and OTC clearing hedge fund clients while working togrow J.P. Morgan's wallet share with each customer
  • Overseebusiness profitability via ownership of client pricing and cost management(e.g., commission schedules, capital consumption, and operational costs)
  • Provide clients andinternal partners with granular, value-added product and workflow expertise
  • Support clients as theynavigate evolving regulatory landscapes
  • Develop andleverage subject matter expertise in clearing house rules, risk managementpractices (i.e., portfolio margining) and operational flows
  • Understand, synthesizeand assess new requirements from potential and existing clients
  • Review any bespokeclient requests and assess their merit in the context of the potential profitability,resource consumption and the broader business agenda
