Position Description:

At PIMCO, our Technology team aims so deliver to our investment professionals accurate information, on time, every time that enable them to make decisions in an increasingly complex world. We provide trade execution capabilities, research data, analytics calculations, concise reports across a diverse array of financial investments that enable us to invest wisely and explain concisely to our clients what risk/reward decisions are being made. The Technology Business Management team leads the IT Risk Management and Portfolio Governance functions across our global technology organization. We Identify, analyze, and monitor the areas of risk that pertain to Information Technology and partner with the technology organization on Portfolio Governance to develop and lead a comprehensive book of work tied to resources, delivery and financials. You'll be excited about the business opportunities and technical challenges of linking disparate datasets like internal flows and financials to making high quality decision support for the technology organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement key risk strategies to reduce organizational risk exposure.
  • Provide Senior Management with a transparent and prioritized view of the Organizational Risk Profile.
  • Establish strategic processes to ensure compliance against open risk and control initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Group Audit and Technology partners to ensure front to back management of the Audit lifecycle.
  • Establish control frameworks for the proactive identification of risk across Technology landscape.
  • Provide Support and services to CTO-1 and Management Team for Risk and Control related matters.
  • Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement strategies to reduce risk across organization.
  • Lead deep dive investigations into incident root cause.
  • Contribute to effort in implementing new financial and program governance toolset (PPM) that will be central to planning, forecasting and reporting of technology financials and portfolio.
  • Partner with program managers across the technology and ensure consistent, comprehensive and high-quality program updates.

Position Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of Professional working experience
  • 7+ Years of Project management experience
  • 7+ Years of IT Risk Management experience
  • 5+ Years of relevant work experience in Asset Management operations and/or technology environment
  • Mastery of PPM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrable ability to gain trust from teams and stakeholders while establishing and maintaining strong relationships
