Job Description

The Securities Services crossproduct backbone product development team defines the global strategy and buildsthe core platforms responsible for the end to end data distribution to internaland external clients. The teamcollaborates with the Custody, Fund Services, and Middle Office product areasto ensure that the build of the platforms meets the needs of the respectiveproduct areas.

The Client Reporting productdevelopment team is responsible for defining the overall strategy and productdefinition for both the current and future state reporting applications. This Assoc level role based in New York willfocus on creating an integrated product roadmap, drafting requirements forplatform feature functionality, collaborating with product areas to build astandard reporting suite, and assisting with the migration of clients to thefuture state reporting application.

This person will play animportant role in leading the standardization and simplification of reporting partneringwith product management and capturing the requirements to deliver future state.Role will also be responsible for supporting the current state reportingoffering to ensure captured best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Developmentlead for all Client Reporting requirement gatheringand delivering a product with focus on simplification and standardization toenable clients to customize and intuitively interact with future application
  • Strategy -Define the near and long term strategy and roadmap for reporting products
  • Partner across the POTL(Product Development, Operations, Technology Leads) to drive strategy andachieve results and craft requirements
  • Leadership: Leadership across the separate business andfunctional groups - driving progress, bringing coordination and coherence toensure delivery of appropriate reporting product set
  • Ensure voice of theclient and effective controls are components of theproduct definition
  • Apply critical thinking to understand requirements; identify,evaluate and propose solutions where necessary
  • Operationsreadiness - Lead current state and future stateflows and support required for defining on boarding model including migrationplanning and execution as needed
  • Enthusiasm& Influence -proven ability to drive and influence change within an operations andtechnology environment.
  • Organization& Planning -proven ability to track and monitor multiple deliverables and give clarity anddirection to all involved parties.
  • Controls: Ensure appropriate adherence to Risk and Controlpolicy, that models implemented account for operational risk, and putsappropriate risk mitigation in place
  • ClientEngagement - proven experience of interactingdirectly with internal and external clients.
  • CommunicationSkills - ability to adapt communicationstyle according to audience and occasion. Ability to influence and managesenior stakeholders but internal and external to the form
  • Provide verbal andwritten status updates as required by tosupport senior management including supporting overall governance (milestonetracking and reporting, monthly and quarterly achievements)
  • Actas SME to client facing stakeholders (newbusiness and on-going client support) on future state reporting
  • ProductInquiries - Assist with the resolution ofclient inquiries and production support issues that cannot be handled by theHelp Desk or Technology Product Support Team



    Required Qualifications andCharacteristics
    • Minimum 5 year's experience of Banking and Financial Services Program or project certification, orequivalent work experience
    • SubjectMatter Expertise - Extensive experience inclient reporting and reporting suites in Securities Services and understandingin data management and distribution
    • Broad-basedbusiness knowledge across the full Securities Services product suite
    • Haveexperience and knowledge with industry wide reporting standards and clientinteraction
    • Clientfacing experience - leverage the user experience strategyto define the minimum viable product and migration strategy aligned withoverall Client Reporting roadmap
    • Excellentwritten and oral communication, clarity of thought and the ability to express oneselfclearly
    • Experiencewith system and process design, Target Operating Models, including use of Visioand construction of business requirements documentation.
    • Drive anddetermination - leading, influencing and driving multiple programmecontributors to meet overall project objectives
    • A problemsolver with the ability to see the bigpicture across lines of business, as well as being able to step in tounderstand the detail to help resolve issues as and when required
    • Strong trackrecord of project delivery, and good project discipline
    • Stronganalytical / quantitative skills, using programs such as Microsoft Office(particularly EXCEL and PowerPoint)
    • Proven goodjudgment , particularly on prioritizing your own and others' workloads -including managing multiple deliveries simultaneously
    • Self-motivated,quick learner, being the focal point of a virtual project team, comfortablewith responsibility
