Overview The candidate will work in the Asset Liability Management team within Corporate Treasury, focusing on currency liquidity risk management. Primary responsibilities will include further development of currency-related aspects of our liquidity and interest rate risk management framework, including analytics, reporting, liquidity stress testing assumptions, FTP, and the currency component of new product and business process approvals. The candidate will join the global team of Treasury personnel responsible for the company's capital, interest rate, and liquidity risk management.
To fulfill this role, the candidate will be required to:
- Act as a subject matter expert on liquidity regulations and rule interpretations, help business partners optimize our currency risk management, and prepare & review daily reports and related commentary
- Enhance currency risk analytics, and advise business on the currency liquidity implications of new products, new business activities or and business process changes
- Work on liquidity data quality enhancement projects (including business requirements, data logic development, data testing, etc.), to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Keep abreast of changes in the regulatory and business environment, conduct applicable research, and make recommendations on funding and liquidity in response to emerging/changing regulatory requirements
- Lead responses to Fed/DFS/OCC liquidity exams and the remediation of internal and regulatory findings, engaging colleagues across the organization as necessary
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to less experienced team members.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and experience with asset/liability and liquidity management within large complex financial institutions are required. Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business preferred. MBA, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred. 12-15+ years of total work experience preferred.
Additional required skillsets include financial statement analysis, business process modeling, quick learning capacity, poise under pressure, strong quantitative and qualitative skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of data, work effectively in a co-located team environment and interact comfortably with staff at all levels, and experience with SQL / Power BI / Tableau / QRM skills.
