About the Team


The Global Payment Transformation Team is responsible forproduct innovation, development and commercialization of new payments servicesthat J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution, Non-Bank FinancialInstitution, Corporate and Commercial Bank clients globally. The paymentslandscape is changing and this team is focused on delivering the vision andexecution for the future of cross-border payments and leading industry leveltransformation. The team is directly engaged in evaluating the businessapplication and integration of technologies such as distributed ledger,robotics, APIs and cloud based infrastructure. The productsdeveloped will be utilized by global financial institutions and corporationsexecuting cross-border payments and will focus on streamlining the clientexperience while reducing operational costs and risks within the current model.

About the Position


The Product Strategy team is responsible for setting theshort and long-term strategy for Global Payments Transformation. Activities mayinclude identifying and developing new and emerging products, engaging seniorstakeholders to achieve buy-in and support the strategy and development,managing external partnership relationships, and working with technology,product management, controls, and other functional partners to deliver newproducts and applications. This candidate will also be responsible forcollaborating with the team to set the 2-5 year strategic roadmap.
The candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Developing strategy frameworks to prioritize future development and partnerships
  • Creating business cases to support the future roadmap
  • Meeting with clients and partners to identify future products
  • Coordinating across the JPMC franchise to establish and implement the long-term strategy

Qualifications
  • Experience in consulting or corporate strategy team, preferably in payments or financial services
  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
  • Energetic, motivated, self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach and an eye for detail
  • Passionate about the payments industry with proven leadership, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Works well within a dynamic and ambiguous environment and under pressure
  • Able to grasp new technologies, market landscape, industry trends and regulatory implications
  • 2 years of consulting or corporate strategy. Experience within payments, FX, or treasury is a plus
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
