TS Liquidity Product Management Client Solutions, ED/VP

Liquidity Solutions ("LS") is globally responsible for product management, marketing and sales of deposit and investment products to Treasury Services ("TS") clients as well as management of the Treasury Services balance sheet.

LS is an integral part of the TS business franchise and LS works closely with business partners across JPMorgan, such as Corporate Treasury, JPMorgan Asset Management and JPMorgan Securities Inc. and third party providers, to deliver the right mix of cash and short-term investment products to the TS client base.

The Client Solutions function broadly focuses on managing complex liquidity deals, providing investment management expertise, sales training and support, identifying emerging client requirements, driving segment initiatives and conducting regular business reviews with stakeholders to drive financial results.

The Liquidity Product Management Client Solutions ("PMCS") professional will report to the WHEM Liquidity Product Management Client Solutions Team Manager and shall be responsible for assisting with the delivery of LS's strategy in the Large Corporate Segment.

This person will align with TSM's, bankers and other product partners in the large corporate client space covering specific industry segments. The PMCS will own the overall global liquidity relationship and will manage his/her portfolio accordingly. Roles and responsibilities include:

Products Specialist:

  • Be the center of expertise to our partners and clients on:
    • Deposits (on balance sheet)
    • Off-balance sheet investments
    • Cash Flow Management tools (pooling, sweeping)
    • Access Liquidity Solutions
  • Provide leadership around best practices in Treasury Management (and Liquidity Management specifically)
  • Provide leadership around liquidity management ties to core cash solutions
  • Build network of expertise within our product organization to better utilize our resources and validate product specifics

  • Specialization should include US and international solutions

Client Facing:

  • Industry expertise:
    • Understanding the industry overall:
      • Manufacturing/sales/distribution model
      • Centralization model
      • Supply chain
    • Understand trends specific to the industries assigned
      • Buying behavior
      • Liquidity needs
    • Be a link to the product organization around new products, improvements and revenue generating opportunities base on client feedback and industry buying behavior
  • Calling: Be an active participant in calling activities (where appropriate)
  • Solution and Proposal generation
  • Account planning
    • Drive the development of detailed account plans for the top 20 clients with TSM's
    • Ensure account plans are in place for the remaining client base (in less detail)

  • Client facing responsibility should include US and international solutions

Revenue Generation

  • Managing an existing book of business within your designated industries
  • Grow the existing book of business within your designated industries
  • Mandate new liquidity management business within your designated industries across all liquidity management solutions

  • Specialization should include US and international solutions

Overall skill sets andrequirements include:

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in investments and/or transactional banking products.
  • Proven sales, relationship management or corporate treasury experience
  • Experience in managing product sales and distribution programs
  • Approximately 30 - 40% travel required
  • Banking knowledge, including knowledge of Treasury Services products
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills - specifically, proven ability to present findings in concise and cogent written presentations
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution
