Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Vice President on the Data Platform team, which builds, supports and maintains data pipelines across numerous equities business offerings. Normalize heterogeneous source data models to consumer specific data contracts. Build and maintain code generation logic for model validations. Benchmark and optimize performance of data transformations to handle scale and latency requirements . Build and maintain streaming stateful graph transformations for various reporting obligations. Work with front office technology and business teams to understand upcoming business deliverables and make the appropriate business logic changes. Develop and maintain support and monitoring tools to reduce operational risk and recovery time from outages. Develop and maintain reconciliation jobs across multiple data pipelines to ensure all data is persisted to system of record. Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle: understand requirements, make software changes, test components, test the flow, roll changes out to production, verify pilot trades, and monitor production flow.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related technology position OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related technology position. Must have five (5) years of experience with: programming in Java or C++; Object Oriented Design & Development, including experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; programming in the Linux, Unix, and Windows environments; a Software Development Life Cycle model; data parallel architectures; graph and tree data structures; and working with model to model data transformations.
