Lead Java Software Engineer - KYC

The Reference Data Technology team (part of the Corporate Technology) provides solutions for Client Onboarding / Know Your Customer (KYC), Account, Document, Instrument and Client reference data across all JP Morgan Lines of Businesses.
We are looking for a technical developer to lead the development of the KYC platform for the Investment and Commercial bank. This is a very high profile role that will manage multiple feature teams across multiple locations, working closely with several senior MD level stakeholders, and develop the best in class KYC platform developed for any bank.
As a senior developer in software engineering, you will combine your years of proven expertise to lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists to develop applications to the highest standards. You will be expected to solve complex business and technical challenges while managing a large and senior user base.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Java & J2EE experience (Certified J2EE Architect is a plus)
- Experience with web technology (Angular, REACT, etc.)
- J2EE & OO Design Patterns Application server configuration, proxy and clustering, load-balancing and performance tuning
- Hands-On experience/ competent knowledge of JBoss Drools or jBPM is desirable
- Hands-On experience with Weblogic, Apache and Tomcat
- Hands on experience with Oracle/SQL
- System and business architecture experience with business process modeling techniques
- Provide people and technical leadership to the team.
- End to end ownership of the development cycle - Requirements, Functional and Technical Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support.
