Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics Software Developer, responsible for building, designing, and delivering data and analytics solutions to support the effective business management and strategic decisions of the Platform Business Unit. Working closely with a broad set of internal stakeholders across the organization to perform detailed source system analysis, and implement data acquisition and preparation techniques specific to each source system. Performing detailed data analysis and implementing distribution, analytics, and decision support systems to satisfy business needs utilizing a broad range of back-end (Java, Spark, or similar) and front-end technologies (React JS, HTML5, Angular JS, CSS or similar). Leading Agile planning meetings. Leading small teams through all the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks. Providing support for various data processing jobs, dashboards and web applications. Actively participating as a member of a global team on larger development projects, and assuming responsibilities of components of global projects, depending on need.

Job Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Three (3) years of experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in the job offered or a related software development position. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree with: Java Programming language; Working with a global team across international time zones to gather user requirements, collaborate on design, and communicate updates to senior management; Working across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including planning work, managing code, building, testing, deploying and monitoring software; Maintaining technology infrastructure assets (such as servers) in a mixed environment of Windows and Unix operating systems; Developing interactive Web applications with dashboard elements, such as Charts and Tables; Providing support for production enterprise level applications; and Debugging general software issues and data feed problems. Prior work experience must also include three (3) years of experience with: Developing with Java, J2EE, and Jersey/Spring boot data service layer; Testing software such as Junit; Software lifecycle tools, including Sourceforge SVN and Jenkins; and SQL technologies like relational databases: Mysql, MS SQL or similar. Prior work experience must also include two (2) years of experience with: JavaScript for front end, including opensource JavaScript Frameworks such as JQuery, React JS, Angular JS or similar. Prior work experience must also include one (1) year of experience with: Messaging experience using Apache Flume, Apache Kafka, or FTP; Big data using Hadoop Cluster and Hadoop File system; Development experience using Apache Spark; NoSQL technologies like Hive, Pig, or similar; Development experience using ElasticSearch and Kibana; and Job scheduler applications like AutoSys or similar.
