Cobalt are working with an impressive Global business to secure a new Finance Manager into an important role that will have control and oversight for the APAC region. This position will be solely responsible in overseeing the Financial planning, oversight and reporting and will be working closely with a Global Financial Controller and CFO to ensure the financial operations run smoothly.

Cobalt are working with an impressive Global business to secure a new Finance Manager into an important role that will have control and oversight for the APAC region.

This position will be solely responsible in overseeing the Financial planning, oversight and reporting and will be working closely with a Global Financial Controller and CFO to ensure the financial operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations on improving working capital
  • Plan and prepare for financial audits by understanding organisation objectives, structure, policies processes, internal controls, and external regulations
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the region, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions so they are accurately recorded and reported
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and conduction variance analysis to ensure corrective actions are undertaken in a timely manner
  • Preparation of the Management accounts pack and commentary for each region and liaising with key stakeholder across the relevant areas
  • Maintenance and review of the fixed asset register and depreciation ensuring key assets are accounted for

Requirements

  • Relevant degree/qualification withing Accounting and Finance
  • 5-7 years experience, with knowledge of managing teams
  • Experience of working within a global organisation and with relevant IFRS and Tax exposure
  • Knowledge and exposure withing the built environment space, is desirable but not essential
