About our client
Our client is a leading global sovereign wealth fund, based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a senior investment due diligence professional to join their risk management team. The focus of the role is to lead and undertake risk reviews on new investments, both funds and direct principal investments. The role covers investments into hedge funds, equities, credit, private equity, infrastructure and structured products funds, as well as direct investments across different asset classes and sectors, on a global basis.
What the job involves

• Analyse new investment proposals from a risk management perspective
• Analyse distressed debt, leveraged loans and corporate debt investments by analysing the companies' financials
• Advise investment departments on general risk

Who we are looking for

• Strong academic record from top-tier institution(s)
• Significant experience in hands-on investment analysis within several asset classes
• Experience of working for an asset manager, endowment, sovereign wealth fund, hedge fund, or other buy-side institution
• Solid understanding of all major asset classes
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and financial statement analysis
