Job Description

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
• Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and filings in accordance with legal requirements.
• Prepare and review board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance matters to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
• Support the legal department with drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their potential impact on the organisation.
• Assist in managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external consultants.

The Successful Applicant

• A recognised qualification as a Company Secretary or equivalent in the legal field.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal and governance documentation.
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
