We are offering a unique opportunity to lead an innovative, modern Solution Engineering team within Oracle Digital, supporting our business across Middle East and Africa (MEA).

This management role will lead a team of Solution Engineer professionals, to drive significant growth in the Oracle Technology business - in particular our PAAS and IAAS portfolio.

Oracle Digital sales model is in a key transition phase. Our technology sales teams, and the solution engineering teams who work with them, have Prime responsibility for defined customer segments and for some countries as a whole.

We need an agile, high energy and passionate individual who can build on past success, and evolve our sales consulting organization and model to capitalize on new opportunities to constantly deliver more - more revenue, more innovation and more value to existing and new customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of up to 11 highly motivated and high performing Solution Engineers (SE).
• Inspire the team to drive outstanding success for our customers, partners - and the sales teams that the Solution Engineers support.
• Maintain a strong business alignment with the sales leadership and sales teams of MEA region, and especially with the teams covering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Support with the Technical pipeline qualification and ensure that the right SE resources are aligned to the top opportunities (also from broader ecosystem).
• Ensure that the team is fully staffed and enabled, with ongoing talent management and development programs in place.
• Build the structures and culture to ensure the team is leveraging their combined strengths to drive success for Oracle and our customers.
• Continually evolve the solution engineering model, defining and implementing best practice in remote customer engagement tools and techniques.
• Provide leadership for the team to ensure that KPI's are aligned to business needs, clearly defined and met.
• Build and maintain strong links to Sales and Product Leadership to ensure clear communication and close alignment to market requirements.
• Manage the correct resourcing of the Solution Engineering Team in conjunction with other Solution Engineering resources in Oracle.
Requirements:

• Leadership experience in a solution engineering or technical sales environment¬
• Very solid and relevant working experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• A strong understanding of the Technology marketplace and the Oracle Technology portfolio.
• Strong understanding of the sale and consumption of cloud services, as well as the role of a Solution Engineer in driving customer and sales success.
• A passion for people development is essential, with a successful track record of hiring and developing multicultural teams.
• Regular overachievement of goals or targets in previous roles is expected.
• A proven track record in a B2B sales environment.
• A primary degree in a Business or IT related discipline.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic necessary and mandatory. French is of additional advantage.

Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publish technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
