About our client

Our client is a major family-owned conglomerate which has a sizeable investment arm. Various arms of the company invest in a range of strategic directions - this role will help drive private equity investments in India and South Asia, where the group already owns a major ports business and a large logistics company. What the job involves

• Drive new private equity investment opportunities through strong industry relationships and commercial acumen
• Present to the investment committee and to the executive board
• Play a key role in the process of investment and divestment and in strategic decision making

Who we are looking for

• Significant investing experience within private equity in India, with appropriate modelling skills and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English
• Influencing skills at the most senior level
• Strong network in India
• Excellent team management and influencing skills
