About our client
We are working with an established sovereign wealth fund which is looking for a restructuring specialist to join its private equity team which focuses on investments across the Middle East, primarily in Saudi Arabia. This role would focus on leading the restructuring/turnaround efforts of the private equity companies within their portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-calibre team of investment professionals and operating partners from top-tier institutions. Compensation is tax free at the local level and the total cash compensation is likely to be attractive.
What the job involves

• The role will focus on creating operational excellence in its portfolio companies, with a focus on projects requiring restructuring
• You will be working with other senior operating partners, as well as senior investment and other leadership professionals to identify areas of value creation and growth opportunities within the existing portfolio
• This firm has a broad investment remit and you will get the opportunity to work with a range of high-profile organizations. It deploys significant capital and has a vigorous throughput of deals which translates into the opportunity to drive performance improvements across large, multi-territory, complex businesses

Who we are looking for

• Candidates should have restructuring experience gained in a top-tier consultancy firm with significant exposure to private equity and/or senior operating experience from an international corporate that has undergone restructuring
• Significant experience of working effectively with executive team members, with a strong ability to lead
• Strong business acumen, with a track record and ability of project delivery
• Strong communication skills
• Ability and willingness to be located in Riyadh, full-time
