Job Description
The VP/ Director will effectively lead & head the hedge fund manager selection process & portfolio management. They will be responsible for the following:
- Selection of external hedge fund/investment managers
- Monitoring the performance of the portfolio and adjusting as needed to maintain desired exposure levels
- Recommending changes to the fund's investment strategy based on economic trends or other factors that could impact performance
- Developing a strategy for managing a portfolio of assets in accordance with the return objectives and risk appetite
- Conducting due diligence on investment proposals and review prospective fund reports
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in from a well reputed university, CFA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years' experience within fund manager selection with a focus on hedge funds - this will either be at an allocator or investment consulting firm
- Ability to relocate to Dubai
- Strong communication skills and stake holder management experience is required
- Well organized and detail oriented
