Project Engineer -Steel Structure Experienced (Immediate Joiner)

For one of our esteemed clients, based in Sharjah, we are looking for four highly skilled Project Engineers with a strong background in steel structure projects. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of steel structure projects, from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of steel structure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective project execution.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documents related to steel structures.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Lead and manage project teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage project budgets, track costs, and handle any financial variances.
• Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits, is properly maintained and up to date.
• Address and resolve any technical challenges or issues that arise during project execution.
• Support the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.
• Ensure all completed work meets the specified standards and requirements before project handover.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on steel structure projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel construction methods, structural engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to visit project sites as required.
