Join us as a Model Risk Repository Manager
What you'll do
As a Model Risk Repository Manager, you'll design and implement a central model repository for the ECH to support model risk management and governance in line with bank policy requirements.
You'll also work closely with model risk owners, interpreting Model Risk Policy and AI Control Tower requirements to create a centralised repository within the Hub that captures all Hub-owned models, Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), compliance requirements, and lifecycle status.

- This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business and control environment by helping to strengthen risk management and governance outcomes
- We'll look to you to improve adherence to the model risk framework and compliance with the bank's model risk policy
- You'll play a key role in delivering planning and control support across the Economic Crime Hub (ECH) to drive effective risk management and operational performance
- You'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend a minimum of two days per week working from the office
What you'll do
As a Model Risk Repository Manager, you'll design and implement a central model repository for the ECH to support model risk management and governance in line with bank policy requirements.
You'll also work closely with model risk owners, interpreting Model Risk Policy and AI Control Tower requirements to create a centralised repository within the Hub that captures all Hub-owned models, Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), compliance requirements, and lifecycle status.
In addition, you'll be:
- Helping to manage model risk across the Hub by ensuring all new and existing models are added to the repository
- Acting as a point of contact for model owners, providing guidance on the documentation needed to meet minimum Model Risk Policy requirements
- Engaging with key stakeholders and model SROs on a regular basis to ensure the data held is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects key stages of the model lifecycle
- Engaging with Second Line of Defence teams to understand changes to the bank's Model Risk Policy and implementing repository updates across the ECH where required to maintain compliance
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll need experience in governance and risk management, ideally with exposure to Economic Crime and model risk.
You'll also have to demonstrate:
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and administering frameworks and standards that drive policy compliance and risk mitigation in an efficient and effective way
- A proven track record of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to absorb complex information and implement solutions that are simple, transparent, auditable, and fair
- Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- A consistent focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement
