Our client are a growing investment group, are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Salford. Reporting to the Group Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, taxation support, and cash flow reporting across the group.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a dynamic listed-group environment, working closely with senior finance stakeholders and external advisors.

You will be a motivated and detail-oriented accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple teams. Ideally newly qualified ACA or ACCA with strong understanding of statutory reporting, audit, and taxation, experience preparing financial reports and working with compliance requirements.

Your responsibiities will be to:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
- Prepare consolidation workbooks and supporting schedules for group reporting.
- Assist with annual and half-year audits, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of financial information.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts for group entities.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and cash flow reports, including forecasting activities.
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and liaise with HMRC where required.
- Support cash flow forecasting across portfolios and the wider group.
- Assist with corporation tax compliance and work alongside external tax advisors.
- Build effective relationships with internal finance teams, auditors, company secretaries, HMRC, and other external stakeholders.
- Contribute to finance improvement projects and wider business initiatives.
