Your role

Are you passionate about helping clients plan for long-term financial security? Are you interested in assessing individual financial goals, risk tolerance, and retirement needs to recommend appropriate annuity services, solutions, or exchanges? We are looking for someone like you who can:

• build and deepen relationships by providing exceptional wealth management services and solutions helping retain assets and drive various business initiatives that are in line with the WAC's growth plan
• continue a successful career in a growing wealth management business with strong earning potential and career advancement
• accept referrals from other lines of business, owning all appointments and outreaches assigned in an effort to deliver financial advice, guidance and a white glove experience
• use our financial planning tools to gain a full understanding of our clients' situation and present all appropriate solutions
• understand and adhere to compliance and operational procedures and requirements
• develop professionally through ongoing wealth management training led by a team of experienced professionals, internal business partners across UBS, and external partnerships
• collaborate with internal teams as well as external carriers to address client concerns and deliver tailored solutions
• act as a brand ambassador, ensuring our values and vision are effectively communicated to the public
• manage timelines and resources effectively to deliver high-quality results
• promote a culture of excellence

Your team

The UBS Wealth Advice Center is a UBS branch with locations in Weehawken, New Jersey; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Dallas, Texas, focused on delivering consistent, high-quality advice and guidance to Emerging Affluent clients through a scalable, relationship-based service model.

Our team currently supports more than 200,000 clients nationwide. Clients are served by a team of over 400 dedicated professionals, including Financial Advisors and Team Associates, who work directly with clients-primarily over the phone-to understand their individual needs and help them make informed decisions in support of their long-term financial goals.

You'll be working as part of the Annuity Team acting as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and external carriers, offering clear advice and guidance while addressing any needs. You will play a critical role in recognizing opportunities and retaining assets helping the WAC achieve revenue growth targets.

Your expertise

• ideally, 2+ years of experience in a relevant role; undergraduate degree is mandatory
• SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent), Life & Health required; CFP or desire to obtain through UBS tuition reimbursement program
• deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to annuities and insurance products and are able to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs
• familiarity with recommending, selling, or managing annuity products, including fixed, variable, and indexed annuities
• excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in analyzing and completing complex cases with a high level of accuracy
• genuinely interested in understanding clients' needs, goals, and concerns to build trust and long-term relationships while also being proficient in assessing financial data, market trends, and individual client circumstances to recommend suitable solutions
• able to explain complex financial products like annuities in a clear and relatable way to clients with varying levels of financial literacy
• highly detail-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as well as be a natural problem-solver who collaborates seamlessly with individuals and teams
• proficient with Microsoft Suite Applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
• demonstrates a proactive mindset and a strong drive to succeed and capable of managing cases independently, with a high degree of ownership and responsibility
