The Global Trade Middle Office Associate for Supply Chain is a key partner to our Global Trade business lines (including Energy and Natural Resources, and Trade and Treasury Solutions), Operations Management, and key support functions. In this dynamic role, you will ensure optimal transactional support, deliver exceptional customer service, manage operational risk, and drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
The salary range for this position will be between $105,000 - $125,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities
As a Middle Office Associate, you will manage a portfolio of committed and uncommitted client files, enforce established procedures, mitigate risks, and champion best-in-class service for both internal and external stakeholders. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Deal Structuring & Credit Process Support: Participate in key phases of the credit life cycle, including pre-closing, closing, client processing, deal monitoring, and repayment.
- Front Office Partnership: Attend pre-closing meetings for new deals as needed and provide ongoing analytical and operational support to the Front Office (FO).
- Documentation & Compliance Review: Review credit and master purchase agreements to ensure strict alignment with credit approvals. Collaborate with the Deal Closing team to facilitate accurate booking in Loan IQ.
- Risk & Waiver Management: Proactively identify discrepancies between transaction terms and credit approvals, initiating waiver requests with the FO when necessary. Ensure all Conditions Precedent (CPs) are met before funding is processed.
- Transaction Lifecycle Management: Monitor deals closely from closing to termination. Safeguard files by saving all closing documentation in internal systems and tracking UCC filings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Back Office team to ensure accurate transaction booking in Loan IQ by delivering complete documentation, backup files, and internal control verifications.
- Financial Crime Prevention: Strictly adhere to internal procedures regarding financial crime prevention, including Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Embargo, Anti-Boycott, and Vessel/OFAC checks.
- Covenant & Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor financial covenants and follow up on past-due items. Ensure covenant databases are updated in a timely manner, proactively contacting clients or agent banks for outstanding deliverables while maintaining regulatory reporting compliance.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Maintain strong working relationships with Front Office, Operations teams, outsource providers, and internal control groups. Identify system and process bottlenecks, coordinate with IT and support teams to implement solutions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new banking platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in commercial lending and asset-financing support management within a commercial bank is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Familiarity with specialized banking systems is a plus (specifically Cash Plus and Loan IQ).
- Industry Knowledge:
- A foundational understanding of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance products.
- General knowledge of corporate banking operations.
- A solid understanding of financial statements, with the ability to confidently calculate and interpret financial ratios.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to risk management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse global teams.
