The Project Finance team oversees the project finance business across Asia (excluding Japan). As a critical component of this team, the Agency section acts in various appointed agent capacities, serving as the primary liaison between borrower, syndicate lenders, and other key stakeholders. The team is dedicated to facilitating seamless loan operations and ensuring strict adherence to all financial and compliance requirements of the financing documents.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience: A degree in Business, Accounting, Banking, or Finance, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in syndicated loan agency or project finance operations.
Leadership Capabilities: Proven supervisory or team lead experience, with a strong ability to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to team members, as well as act as a "Checker" for complex transactions.
Work Ethic & Problem Solving: Confident and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot operational issues, multitask effectively, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Technical & Communication Skills: Strong communication, numerical, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Job Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Act as the Team Lead, providing ongoing training, mentorship, and technical assistance to team members to ensure accuracy and operational excellence.
- Identify and escalate operational issues promptly to the Section Head, providing well-researched proposals for resolution and actionable plans.
- Process Loan Transactions: Prepare and calculate loan drawdowns, associated payments, Principal & Interest (P&I), fee payments, loan prepayments, and reserves.
- Quality Control: Act as the "Maker" for assigned portfolios and the "Checker" for team members' portfolios to ensure accuracy.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate transaction records, contact lists (including Debtdomain), and documentation logs.
- Securities Safekeeping: Maintain up-to-date security records, including share registers and related documentation.
- Execution & Compliance: Execute rate fixing and process audit confirmations.
- Process fixed deposit placements by verifying signatures, confirming fund availability, executing rate fixing, and issuing placement confirmations.
- Review and process remittance applications, ensuring all payments are permitted under the relevant finance documents and that sufficient funds are available prior to execution.
- Assist with the account opening process and related documentation.
- Prepare, generate, and distribute monthly fee income reports.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, archiving documents, and coordinating courier deliveries.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
