The ex-Goldman Sachs MD who joined Capula in February hired from Citi
Would you like to work for Capula Investment Management, the London-based hedge fund with a fixed income focus? As we noted yesterday, it is hiring. Those hires include a former Goldman Sachs managing director (MD) who's recruited a European government bonds trader from Citi.

Andrea Casulli, an ex-Goldman Sachs MD on Goldman's rates trading desk who spent eight years as a partner at Brevan Howard before leaving last August. Casulli quietly turned up at Capula in February. Now he's recruiting for his pod.
Capula didn't respond to a request to comment for this article. Nor did Casulli. His new recruit is understood to be Michele Beretta, an up and coming European government bonds trader who spent the past two years at Citi in Paris. Beretta didn't respond to a request to comment and Citi declined to elaborate upon his whereabouts.
Casulli is presumably making other additions to his pod. Before he worked for Goldman he was the head of linear rates trading for EMEA at UBS. Before that he was at Lehman Brothers.
Capula has hired at least five portfolio managers this year. They include Tom Bowles, the former co-head of portfolio management at Man Global.
