Hedge fund Two Sigma's spacious new office in London makes it Jane Street's neighbour

Quant hedge fund Two Sigma has had its share of controversy in recent years, particularly regarding the squabbles between co-founders John Overdeck and David Siegel. Despite this, the fund posted its best returns of the decade so far in 2025. As it looks to improve further, the fund has found itself a new office in London.

Companies House filings show Two Sigma has changed offices to the fifth floor of 7 Devonshire Square, located near Liverpool Street. Devonshire Square's website shows that the fund occupies the floor by itself. It's understood that it will also occupy the sixth floor after undergoing refurbishments. 

Two Sigma should recognize one of it's new neighbours, Jane Street, which has an office on the same estate, occupying the entirety of 212 Devonshire Square. This might be a fleeting arrangement, as Jane Street is reportedly looking to expand its office footprint in London and is exploring moves elsewhere.

Two Sigma used to live in City Tower on Basinghall Street occupying three floors. However, the new office is thought to have a larger square footage of around 20,000 square feet (including the second floor once completed). The office will be able to house roughly 200 people; Companies House accounts for its UK entities showed it had 107 UK employees in 2024 (predominantly engineers), and its website states it still has over 100 people in London.
