Your new role

As the KYC/CDD Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end client onboarding and periodic review processes, acting as a key liaison between Relationship Managers, Compliance, Operations, and Head Office teams. You will lead advisory efforts on CDD matters, propose risk-based solutions to documentation gaps, and ensure regulatory compliance with MAS AML/CFT guidelines. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior team members, overseeing client account monitoring, conducting internal surveillance reviews, and driving process improvement initiatives. You will also represent the team in committee meetings, prepare MIS reports, and support audit and regulatory survey responses. This is a high-impact role that offers visibility, leadership opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of CDD operations.

What you'll need to succeed

In order for you to succeed in this role you will have:

• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, specifically in KYC/CDD, Client Onboarding, AML, or similar functions for the Private/Wealth segment
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of MAS AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance standards
  
• 
  Professional certifications such as CAMS would be an added advantage
  
• 
  Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
  
• 
  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior staff
  
• 
  Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
